i've been doodling a lot recently. lots and lots of trees and branches and stuff. i think these pictures fit well with what i've been drawing. i want spring, snow can suck it.
i feel like i haven't been on this thing in forever, which i guess is half true, since it's been probably well over a month. to make up for lost time, i'll post more photos than usual, a photo essay to be exact. possibly the lamest idea for a photo essay, especially for an art class, but whatever, i can get away with it. at least that's what i tell myself. and here, ladies and gentlemen, a photo essay on literally nothing. minimalism at it's finest.
it started with a cool looking swirl of paint in the glass i was using to wash my brushes.. i started going overboard with pictures after. this is just a few of my better ones, following the little journey of my day of painting. i had fun.
more like 3. but still, balloons nonetheless. i took these in my 'studio', aka standing on my bed holding a lamp at various angles to give shadows. my budget for photoshoots is basically nonexistant, so i make due with what i have. ghetto fabuloussssssss, feel it.
k i've been slacking already on this, but i've had a hectic week.
alright, so i recently did a shoot on teen suicide, so i figured i'd unveil them now. pretty happy with the results, although they're a tad (okay, really) emo/depressing, but it does suit the theme, so it's okay.
enjoy... (well, they're not exactly enjoyable.. but you know what i mean)
shout outs to the models aka my brothers, and sorry jordan, who knew the non-permanent marker wouldn't wash off your side...?
i can't really think of too much to write about, so i'll let these words speak for me. none are meaningful, i just like to take pictures of things that catch my eye. noooo particular order.
i did this assignment at school a little while ago (when it was warm, actually, grr..) on what art is. i found a bunch of quotes about what people believe it is, and then photographed it. got pretty carried away, and the results are still on the driveway, garage, a couple bedsheets, and everyone's clothing. we splattered paint like no tomorrow, and it was a pretty solid day. thanks goes out to jordan, kevin, ally and kira, for being amazing sports, despite getting paint in their hair, clothing, and in kira's case, teeth. oh and ally for also rocking a tin foil outfit. thanks dudes.
